    5TH SATURDAY OF THE MONTH FROM 9:00A.M. TO 12:00 P.M. THIS EVENT IS FREE!!

    Introduction clinic
    This clinic is designed to instruct ladies on how to handle firearms safely as well as teach the fundamentals of marksmanship. This will help instill confidence and introduce the concept of structured shooting events.

    LADIES WILL LEARN:
    • Safety rules that can apply to any firearm and range
    • A basic overview of the different types of firearms and ammunition
    • How to safely handle a firearm
    • General shooting skills and techniques


    The beginner's clinic is open to any female club member or guest of a club member. It is taught by women to women. Men (including spouses, boyfriends, family members, and friends) are not allowed to participate, or linger at the event. This ensures an environment which allows total concentration.

    Eye and ear protection, firearms, and ammunition are provided for all participants.
    We begin all students with a Browning Buckmark .22LR Pistol. If a participant has a particular firearm that they would like to use, it needs to be reviewed by the Chairman of this event, prior to the start of the class. Regardless of whether a personal firearm will be allowed for use or not, NO MAGNUM AMMUNITION WILL BE A LLOWED AT THIS EVENT.

    In order to attend this event, all participants will be required to sign a Corona Sportsmen's Club Liability Release. WE CANNOT WAIVE THIS REQUIREMENT FOR ANYONE . You can download the attached for and complete it prior to the class (We will also have the necessary forms available at the event). After attending the first beginner clinic, Returning participants can transition to the Skills Workshop on the upper range.

    Skills Workshop
    On the upper range we have our skills workshop where shooters can work at their own pace.

    This is the perfect opportunity for shooter to bring their own firearms and improve their shooting skills using their own equipment. including:
    • General shooting skills and techniques using paper and metal targets
    • How to shoot on an open range (Range commands & Etiquette)
    • Reloading proficiency
    • Advanced shooting skills
    • Drawing and presentation from holster​
