Reloading .308

I know that the recipes call for large rifle primers but everyone seems to be out of them and I have about 2000 of the large rifle magnum primers that I use for reloading my Smith and Wesson 460 and for my 458 Lott and was wondering if I could use them for the 308? I have used small rifle magnum primers when reloading 223 and really can't see any difference in the performance or wear and tear on the casing so perhaps I can do the same with the 308? I plan on using Lapua Brass 308 Winchester and Sierra MatchKing 175 Grain Hollow Point Boat Tails with Varget powder. Any comments would be appreciated!

You can use them, but you may need to reduce your charges by 5%
