Just wanted to tell you guys that I apologize if my buddy pissed anyone off at the last shoot. Please let me explain, my buddy Hud is a retired 20 year Marine who was a Gunney who was in some sort of embassy reactionary force and a grunt and transitioned directly into the sheriff's dept upon his retirement.

From there Hud applied and became one of the oldest EST/SEB (Riv. County's version of SWAT)to be accepted to the unit. Hud tends to talk trash but he was directing it to me and was NOT trying to be disrespectful to anyone.

Hud was wearing non electronic ear protection and was speaking in a louder than normal tone and may have said a few things that to the everyday guy is rude, when in reality it's our way of just being what we are.

I have always been able to turn off the deep rooted language and communication skills (lack thereof) we use, some of us arent that capable.

So, again, if my friend rubbed anyone the wrong way, Im sorry.

On a lighter note, that old man showed me how much I suck at shooting. LOL

Thanks to all, see ya Sunday morning at the 0900 shoot.

Bob (The guy with the Beretta with the weird black thing on the end)

I think you'll have to tell him to yell a little louder cause I don't think anyone heard him... Seriously though no one pays attention we all take jab's at out buddies especially when there up at bat...

Hey great seeing you out there this past weekend Bob...

I agree with Brian...not a lot of thin skinned folks out there...we do get the occasional lady shooters, but they are pretty tough (in a nice way) too! But, thanks for being considerate.

Heck that's half the fun. As long as he can take it as well as dish it out no one cares.

Oddly enough I think all the jabbing and ribbing make the shoot what it is... We are a very social group out there... and honestly if one of us were to see something a little over the line we'd pull that person aside and say hey maybe tone it down a little bit... We are all out there to have a little fun and blow off a little steam with our buddies and friends...

Think the only issue we've had out there was issues with peoples brass walking off... I know for a while there I was lucky to get 25 pieces back at a time... Which after 3 months time I started getting a little low so I really appreciate it when you guys herd my brass for me...

oh yeah those May results are up...
