Hello All and Happy New Year.
The Rimfire Shoot begins the New Year on Saturday Jan 14 at 2:00 PM. Our fun, family-oriented competition has six stages, four with a rifle and two with a pistol. Some stages require up to 20 shots so it is best to have firearms with removable magazines but you can use any .22 rimfire (no 22 magnum or .17 HMR). Most stages are timed but you usually have plenty of time to complete the stage. Under certain conditions alibis are given (jams, firing on wrong target, etc)
We shoot in groups of up to 5 shooters at a time, so if you are sharing a firearm with your family and friends they will be assigned to separate groups. If you have only a rifle or a pistol come on out with it. We can usually find an extra pistol or rifle or someone will let you use theirs.
We currently have two classifications, Scoped and Open sights. Unmagnified red/green dot type sights are considered open sights. Laser sights are not allowed.
You will need about 60-80 rounds of ammunition to complete all the stages and I have a sight in period prior to the shoot commencing so bring 100 rounds per shooter. I also have extra ammo for purchase if needed.
Price per shooter is $10. Juniors under 18 are free.
