At a recent meeting it was stressed that we slow down on the road to the range. I have friends who live out back near the range. Some walk on the trails. Today it was brought to my attention that trucks were going very fast on the hilly roads...enough that if a vehicle were approaching in the opposite direction it could have been fatal. Also possibly hitting someone walking on the other side of the crest. These vehicles contained younger members that may not get the "message" of this true liability for our club. There was a lot of dust and skidding up over the hill. Could it be brought up at each shoot until members who don't attend meetings often can be more aware of the dangers? Today there were three in a row traveling very fast together, one a large red pick up truck. It was very obvious they were going to the tactical shoot. Most people know I am a member and seem to gravitate to me to complain. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Good afternoon....was wondering if the shotgun fun event will be held tomorrow. Says may. It be during hunting season, not sure if that means upland game season or deer as well. Thank you.
Hi, are you the shoot chair? A buddy and I want to try the rimfire shoot. Can you briefly tell me what it entails and what we will need? Thanks...Aaron Carlin, member.
