Default CSC Christmas Party 2021

We had a record number of RSVP's this year. In the end we had around 175-185 in attendance and plenty of parking due to the whole top range being open.

Members were greeted by our forest gnome as they cam through the creak heading out to the range, with another two of the at the upper range.

The weather was just about perfect. A little cool in the shade but warm in the sun. Lots of members all over the place just sitting in lounge chair, relaxing and visiting.

We started off with our swap meet. Our swap meet grows each year, this year we had over 20 different displays with lots of swapping and haggling. Some of the items I saw were ammo cans, holsters, reloading dies, bullets, primers, brass, reloading machines, barrels, powder, knives, collectables and other trinkets. It kind of reminded me of the old style gun-shows.

We had the Turkey Shoot and Archery shoot on the lower ranges where members and their guests could try their shooting skills.

Our lunch (which was preceded by a short prayer of thanks by Laurian) consisted of a pit roasted pig, smoked Tri-tip, grilled chicken tenders, creamed corn, baked beans and rolls. Then came the desert pies, cake and cookies which went fast.

I would like to thank all those who chipped in to help.
Tom and Andrea(Archery)
Dave, Emily and Evin(Turkey Shoot)
Angel and his gang of pig roasters
Pete(Music man)
Laurian, Janita, Kevin, Tina, Jack, Patricia, David, Kevin and all the others who cooked and helped serve.

My apologies if I missed anyone, but we had a lot of help and I was having trouble keeping the faces and names straight.

At the end we all got together while our president handed out the Shooter of the year awards for each shoot discipline, and the second annual club top-shot award for 2021. We then drew from the clean-up tickets for the 4 firearm giveaways, followed by a plethora of door prizes.

It has been a long 2 years with all the Covid stuff, economic downturn and questionable politics. It was great getting to see everyone having a good time!!!!

Just a reminder, there is no members meeting in December. See you all at the next members meeting on January 25, 2022

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Board of Directors!!

Just a few pictures. Come to the next meeting to see them all
