Default Ammo question for tactical

Okay, long story short, I found my old revolver (Think LARGE snake)and was wondering if .357 FMJ ammo is too rough on the plates? .38 special is no issue for me I can shoot either one. I just wanted to push some .357 through her since I havent shot her in over 10 years.

Bring both 38spl & 357 mag and ask brian ( the guy that runs the match) if its ok. Or get there early shoot the magnum a little then run the 38 spl in the match. Fellow shooters wiil probably thank you for using the 38 spl if you know what i mean.

Default Hey Robert...

Hey Robert...

To answer your question no magnum... Sorry... The power factor is too high for the mild steel plates... In basic it causes the plates to get really deep pits in them which we don't like because when a jacket from a bullet hits that pit it splashes back on the shooter and the range officers...

Thanks for taking the time the time respond.

Now if I can just figure out how to get the time to shoot some tactical, ARGH!!!!

For those that dont know (everyone LOL) my wife is due in about 3 weeks and my life is upside down right now.

I missed the 03JUL shoot because I am trying to do some demo in my house and get the new kid's room ready.

I have a 19 year old son and I am 43 as of the 11th, yeah yeah, I know.

Shut up.
